Tennis Skills

For the past 4 weeks Michael has come to school to teach us some tennis skills. The programme is called Grasshopper Tennis.
We play games as we learn and practise new skills.

Banana shake

Today we followed a recipe and made a banana milkshake. We used milk, banana and a little bit of sugar. After blending it together for 1 minute we got to taste it. Most of us thought it was really yummy. It was funny because we all had milky moustaches!!

Measurement

We are finding things around the classroom and weighing them to see what is the heaviest.

The doll is heavier than the book

The scissors are heavier than the gluestick

The book is heavier than the gluestick

This side of the scale is on the ground and it means the Jovi's are heavier than the spacer which is up in the air.

We are wearing blue and have our teddys today

Today we all wore something blue and brought our teddy bears. We also brought some money for Plunket.
It is lots of fun having our bears at school.

This morning our bears ran away and hid in a tree!!

Using the iPads

During maths we have been using the iPads to practise our bonds to 10. We are using the App called 'Find Sum'. Mrs Campbell came in and took some photos.
