100 days celebration

These children started school 100 school days ago

We did a lot of activities based around the number 100.

• We made crowns
• We made fairy bread shapes in the shape of 100 with hundreds (Mrs Morgan took out all the thousands out of the sprinkles!!)
• We wrote our name lots of times in 100 seconds. Eva won as she wrote her name 25 times and Sam wrote his 24 times. We decided it was best to have a short name for this activity!!
• We skipped around the triangle for 100 seconds - it was a long time
• We walked 100 steps
• We counted in 1's, 2's, 5's, 10's, 20's, 25's and 50's to 100
• We shared our collections of 100 things. What a lot of different things there were. (We will share a slideshow soon showing our collections)
• We read stories about 100 days at school

Today we are going to be doing lots of activities based around 100 as we have been at school 100 days this year.

100 days

Dear Parents,

Room 4 (including those children who have just moved through to Room 2) have been counting the days we have been at school this year and on  Tuesday 30th July, (1st Tuesday of Term 3) it will be 100 days.

We are going to celebrate this event by doing many activities based around 100.

One of these activities will be sharing collections of 100 objects. We are asking each child to bring a collection of 100 items e.g. hairclips, stickers etc. in a sealed container. We look forward to sharing a wide variety of collections (we know you are all very creative!).

Dress Rehearsal

We were so excited as we saw the fantastic costumes that everyone was wearing, for the first time.

Our Production "Tiki Tour"

We are all practising really hard for our School Production on Thursday night. Every day we see something new as the whole school practises together.
We are very excited as we practise our dances and sing our songs.
It will be fun when we put on a show for our mums and dads.
